What do you get when you cross a digital camera, GPS, a range-finder and pattern recognition? an image-cataloging tool that finally allows you to find the picture you are looking for.
The idea is to go a step beyond just GPS, let a rangefinder know if you are outside and how far the background is. Let smart software figure out, that 11° 22' E 48° 08' N is more than just a location, but your home.
Use patternrecognition to identify people and objects. Use additional metadata to make a birthday out of 01/19/05.
Allow natural queries like: "Show me the the pictures of my last birthday party with Susan and Tom"
